Plug and Play

The BeagleBee attaches directly to the P9 header and connects the BeagleBone’s serial UART4 to the radio. The two LEDs provide indication of received transmissions and association status. The push button can be used instead of issuing some ATCB commands for joining networks.

The BeagleBee is Open Source Hardware and the design files are on Github.

Includes the Hashlet

The BeagleBee includes the Hashlet’s authentication chip, the Atmel ATSHA204 on the bottom. You can configure your wireless sensor network with shared keys to provide authentication messages or push firmware updates.
