I’ll be giving a talk at Portland BSides in two weeks titled: Cryptowarez: a survey of Open and Closed Hardware Crypto Devices.
The two-day conference is packed with some really excellent speakers, I’m very much looking forward to the event. I hope I have time to sneak over to Powell’s Books while I’m there! 🙂
I submitted what I think is my best bio to-date:
Josh Datko is the owner of Cryptotronix, an embedded security consultancy. As a submarine officer, he was sent to Afghanistan to ensure that the Taliban did not develop a submarine force–mission accomplished! He wrote a book on BeagleBones and crypto hardware which not many people have read and presented a better way to make a hardware implant at DEF CON which hopefully helped the NSA improve their spying.
